When you go out for a meal, do you opt for a suit, tuxedo, or some other ensemble?
The answer is no, says one of the country’s leading fashion designers.
“If you’re going to a Christmas dinner, be prepared to wear a suit or tux, whether you’re celebrating a holiday or not,” says Christian Danza, head of fashion for Dyson.
He says it’s all about making the most of the season and choosing the right outfit to compliment your mood and style.
“It’s important to have the right accessories,” he says.
“Whether you’re dressing for a party or going to work, you need the right outfits.”
Danza explains that the best way to create a festive look is to be conscious of your style and your look.
“I think the best part about Christmas is the choice you make,” he adds.
For example, Danza recommends dressing for your own special occasion with a suit jacket and a tie.
“You want to have a suit and tie that will be a little bit more stylish and a little more formal than you would wear for a formal dinner,” he explains.
To make sure you look good for the occasion, Dyson recommends a pair of jeans, a blazer, and a sweater that goes well with the suit.
You can also try a blouse, he suggests.
“Just wear a light sweater or a dress shirt,” Danza says.
Dyson’s latest Christmas-inspired products are available in over 150 stores, including Bloomingdale’s, Ralph Lauren, and Louis Vuitton.
The company is expanding into the Indian market and has already introduced a new line of clothes.
