And the church is wearing clothes.
As Christian shoppers are being urged to shop, it’s not just a matter of saving money, the clothing industry has been lobbying for a better deal, with clothing companies and retailers fighting tooth and nail to get a piece of the pie.
The battle is going on all over the world.
For more than a century, Christians have been forced to choose between a lifestyle in which they wear Christian clothing, or an environment where they don’t.
The problem is not just limited to the clothing business.
The clothing industry also faces the threat of the new wave of anti-religious discrimination.
“It’s really important for the church to be able to work together with the business and the industry to make sure that the church does not face that type of discrimination,” said Julie Hamer, senior director of advocacy for the Christian Business Alliance.

It’s just the Beginning’Christian business leaders are worried about a changing world, which could mean the end of the Christian garment industry.
“We need to be proactive in working with the businesses that are currently operating in the industry in order to ensure that they continue to thrive and thrive for the next generation,” said Beth Hamer of the First Presbyterian Church in Houston, who has led the battle to keep the garment industry going.
“I think there’s been a real shift in attitudes and in attitudes in general.”
For many, a new generation of young Christians are being encouraged to embrace a lifestyle outside of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The Christian clothing industry is thriving.
It’s just not the same as before.
