CHRISTIANAUDIGIER has spent more than £20,000 of its own money on clothing designed for women.
The British clothing company has launched a “Made for Christian Women” campaign, which has now been launched in the UK.
It’s been launched on a day when more than 1,000 women wore the clothes in a fashion show in Birmingham, and a women’s charity said it was “the most generous campaign we’ve seen”.
“These clothes are designed to make women feel beautiful, fit and confident, and to make them feel special and powerful,” said Barbara Stoddart, director of Women’s Aid.
“ChristianAudigier have taken an iconic fashion label and made it more inclusive for women and their families.”
ChristianAudigaire is a small clothing brand that has been a staple in the British clothing industry for more than 30 years.
“They’ve been doing that since the 1950s,” said Stoddamart.
“They’ve always made the best quality clothes, but they have always had a little bit of a streak of ambition and a little thing called the Christian ethos.”
Stoddart said that although the clothing is made for women, it also makes a statement for those who wear it.
“The idea is to make clothes for women,” she said.
“But also, to make people feel beautiful and empowered.”
The clothes are available in sizes from women’s to men’s, and in various colours.
The women’s clothing is available in various styles, and the men’s clothing has a “dress code” which is meant to prevent unwanted touching.
The campaign has also been created to help women make decisions about how to wear their clothes.
“I think that’s what they’re trying to do.
It’s a little more aggressive than it would be for a traditional label, but it’s also really about making a statement,” Stoddanart said.
The company also aims to give women a “way to express themselves in a way that is culturally appropriate”.
“I’ve had some women come up to me and say, ‘I just wanted to make sure I knew what I was wearing’,” Stoddant said.
“It’s really good that they’re creating something that makes a difference.”
The company has also created a website to help consumers make their own Christian Audigier clothes, and it’s currently running a contest to see which style they would like to buy.
“We want people to get creative and have the best clothes,” Stobart said, adding that the company had had “a lot of people come up and say they’ve seen their friend’s clothes or someone’s mum’s clothes.”
“We think it’s great that people are being inspired and being inspired by their friends and their family and their community.”
